Wide Color Gamut
The monitor reproduces 97% of the Adobe RGB color space so it can display most colors in a digital photo taken in Adobe RGB mode. Furthermore, it also has an sRGB mode to accurately reproduce colors in this narrower but commonly used color space, such as those seen on web pages or digital photos taken in sRGB mode. |
High Resolution Screen
The FlexScan SX2262W features a 1920 × 1200 native resolution. Compared to the 1680 × 1050 native resolution of most 22-inch monitors, this is approximately 30% more information in the same amount of screen space.
Three Inputs Including DisplayPort
Connect with up to three PCs via the monitor's dual DVI-I inputs which accept digital and analog signals, and the DisplayPort (digital) input terminals. DisplayPort is next-generation connectivity that transmits both video and audio signals.
10-Bit Simultaneous Display
|
The monitor can display 10-bit color from a 16-bit look-up table via its DisplayPort input*. This is more than 1 billion colors shown simultaneously which is 64 times greater than the 16.7 million colors of 8-bit display. The result is even smoother color gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.

Brightness and Color Uniformity with DUE
Fluctuations in brightness and chroma on different parts of the screen are characteristic of LCD panels. Generally, the larger the screen, the more noticeable these uniformity errors become. EIZO's Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) helps to compensate for these errors, resulting in a much more uniform image.
Preset Modes
Detailed Color Control
The OSD menu and bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD software offers adjustment of brightness, gamma, saturation, hue, gain and color temperature from 4,000 K to 10,000 K in 100 K increments. For fine-tuning of even a single color, the hue and saturation settings for red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow can be adjusted independently.
Brightness and Color Temperature Stability
To ensure proper display of color, the FlexScan SX2762W comes equipped with patented EIZO technology that stabilizes the monitor's brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. Furthermore, a temperature sensor detects and automatically suppresses changes in color and brightness caused by fluctuations in the surrounding temperature.
Fast Response Time
An overdrive circuit is included to reduce gray-to-gray response time to 6 ms and ensure that movies and other moving images look clean and sharp with an absolute minimum of blurring and ghosting.
Placement Flexibility
Scale Non-Native Resolutions to Full Screen
When working at less than native resolution or aspect ratios other than 16:10, you can use the scaling function to enlarge your work proportionally or expand it to fill the screen. You can then smooth or sharpen the image in five increments.
Colorblindness Simulation Software
To avoid creating inconveniences and even dangers for those with color vision deficiency, care must be taken when choosing color schemes for everyday items such as maps, road signs, web sites, and power indicator lights. With the bundled UniColor Pro, an EIZO-developed software, the monitor can instantly simulate how still and moving images appear to people with color blindess vision deficiency, and do so much faster than software-based tools that slow down with larger files.
Optimized Brightness with Auto EcoView
On-Screen Button Guide
Graphics professionals often work in a dimly lit environment which can make it difficult to read a monitor's adjustment buttons. The SX2462W, however, includes an on-screen button guide that labels what each of the buttons are for so you can easily navigate the OSD menu. |
Energy and Environmental Efficiency Index
A user-activated EcoView Index displays the level of power savings and equivalent amount of CO2 reduction compared to using the monitor without Auto EcoView activated and with the screen set at a brightness of 100%. |
Hardware Calibration with Optional EIZO EasyPIX
EIZO EasyPIX is a hardware calibration solution that directly adjusts the monitor’s color settings to ensure predictable color. EasyPIX is sold separately and consists of software and the EIZO EX2 color sensor. |
Commitment to Quality
While outsourcing production is now common practice in the monitor industry, EIZO continues to manufacture its products the same way it has throughout its 40 year history – with its own staff at its own factories. This allows EIZO to keep close control over production quality and offer the industry's only 5-year manufacturer's limited warranty.
Customer Assurance
A five-year warranty offers a long service life, and compliance with leading industry standards such as TCO'03 and TÜV Ergonomics ensures a better working environment.
