Astuce Production Chooses EIZO ColorEdge | EIZO

Astuce Production has specialized in advertising photography since 1981, and is a long-time user of EIZO monitors.

 “Colorimetry has always formed an integral part of our knowledge.  Therefore, we wanted to equip ourselves with computer equipment allowing us to be really efficient in this field. That requires the appropriate monitors. We chose EIZO when we transitioned to LCD screens,” explains Loui-Alexis Fontaine, technical director at Astuce Production.

Currently, 10 stations for photo editing and 4 for visualizing the shoots are equipped with EIZO ColorEdge CG277 and CX270 monitors. As Louis-Alexis Fontaine explains, “The 27 inch is our standard size, whether it is the CX270 or the CG277 which we chose for different reasons. With the CX270 we get a quality/price ratio. With the CG277 we get true autonomy. Thanks to the integrated and programmable calibration, the person who manages the calibration is not obliged to do it manually anymore. It is thus possible to define a profile via an external sensor and to deploy it on the other screens. This is very important for us across several sites in order to use the same base of calibration”
